Owner/Principal Attorney

Eidelman has practiced law since his commencement in 2004. Graduating from the University of Maryland, Magna Cum Laude, with a B.A. in political science, and from Georgetown University Law Center earning his J.D. in 2004 and an LL.M. in taxation in 2006. After relocating to Wichita, Kansas, Gerald worked as a tax attorney for Invista, Sarl. (a subsidiary of Koch Industries) and as a tax associate at Foulston Siefkin, LLP.

In 2010, Eidelman Law Firm was founded and began serving clients in the Wichita area and across the state of Kansas, with a focus on estate and business planning.

In addition to his law practice, Gerald is happily married and has two children. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys fine coffee. He is also a published author, creating The Inheritance Trap: Common Estate Planning Mistakes and How to Avoid Them.

Douglas Tschauder, J.D., MBA

Lead Kansas City Attorney

Tschauder has been a licensed attorney for 20 years before joining Eidelman Law Firm, with a practice focused on comprehensive estate planning, including business and farm succession planning, and legacy creation and preservation. Doug has a JD/MBA degree from the University of Kansas.

Prior to joining Eidelman Law Firm, Doug had been in private practice with The Ritchie Law Firm and was a managing attorney at Legal Aid of Western Missouri. He taught legal and financial classes at Missouri Western State University and Benedictine College as an adjunct professor.

Doug and his wife, Sarah have two sons. In his free time, he enjoys college and professional basketball and football, cooking, and judging barbeque competitions.

Jenah Moody

Paralegal

Jenah is a paralegal specializing in estate planning. Her diligence, hard work, and excellence in delivering clear, consistent communication are vital to the smooth operation of Eidelman Law Firm. While Jenah also has extensive experience in family and personal injury law, estate planning quickly became her passion. She takes great pride in creating peace of mind as she assists clients with their estate planning needs: “I enjoy knowing that the ‘what if’ questions are answered and prepared for,” she said.

In 2012, she graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She received a Paralegal Certificate from Kansas State University in April 2022. Jenah is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and stays current on the constantly-changing rules of V.A. benefits. Jenah is happily married to a U.S. Navy veteran and has two children.

Meredith Moore-Johnson

Legal Administrative Assistant/Paralegal

Meredith initiated her professional journey by serving in senior communities in Kansas and Nevada as a Director of Life Enrichment. She possesses a profound affection for elderly individuals and has acquired valuable wisdom and expertise from her interactions over the years. When she decided to start a family, she made the decision to switch career paths and became a Virtual Administrative Assistant, enabling her valuable time with her family while working. As she re-entered the workforce, she found the perfect match at Eidelman Law firm, as can apply her administrative skills and once again work with senior citizens.

During her leisure time, Meredith is an aspiring author with multiple exciting projects in the works. Her ultimate aspiration is to secure a spot on the New York Bestseller List (she would also gladly accept her local library’s pick of the week, too). Meredith is happily married and enjoys quality time with her two sons and their dog, Harley.

Betty Stottlemire

Legal Administrative Assistant (Kansas City)

Betty’s professional journey began by working in the nursing field for many years and her expertise and wisdom interacting with patients has given her the opportunity to expand into the legal field. Her journey began in family law, but ultimately estate planning has become her main priority and passion.

She is always ready to listen and assist clients with their next steps in life and making sure they are prepared for all their estate needs. 

In her leisure time, Betty enjoys her family time with her husband, kids, a Husky named Azura and two cats.
